Owatonna Veterinary Hospital
Dr. Tami Bauer
Dr. Tami Bauer has been practicing veterinary medicine at Owatonna Veterinary Hospital since graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2006. As of April 1st, 2016, Dr. Bauer is the new practice owner of Owatonna Veterinary Hospital. She enjoys working closely with clients to provide compassionate and high-quality care for their pets.
In her free time, Dr. Bauer enjoys spending time with her family and her assortment of animals. Her hobbies include camping, snowmobiling, and quilting. She currently resides in Faribault with her husband and two children.
Dr. James Gute
Dr. Gute has been a veterinarian in the Owatonna area for over 40 years. Dr. Gute is an excellent surgeon and is skilled in a variety of surgical techniques. He spends his mornings performing surgeries at our clinic and sees appointments in the afternoons.
Dr. Gute is adamant that it is his purpose in life to care for, to share and to repair God's creatures. Anyone who knows him well will agree with his statement. When Dr. Gute isn't fixing up God's creatures, he is outdoors enjoying what nature has to offer. He enjoys many outdoor activities and loves to play poker.
Traci Pittman
Traci Pittman is an RCTC vet tech graduate and has been with us since 2014. Traci is our lead technician and helps add a little structure to the organized chaos! Traci can be found assisting with a variety of tasks in the clinic. Traci leads a busy life with 3 young children at home. She and her husband show Percheron draft horses during the summer at many of the county and state fairs. Her dog, Winston can be found frequently at the clinic with her.
Kayla Caswell
Kayla Caswell is our main surgery technician/assistant. She has been a team member since 2004! Kayla spends her mornings working with Dr. Gute. During the afternoons she monitors surgical patients, prepares for the next day's surgical procedures, and discharges patients. Kayla also can be seen assisting in many other areas of the clinic as well.
Even after a day of working with animals, Kayla still wants to spend more time with them!! She has successfully started her own in-home pet-sitting business and has many satisfied clients in the Owatonna area. In her free time, she likes to read, and spend time with her family and her dog, Kylo.
Rebecca Noeldner
Rebecca Noeldner is one of our veterinary technicians with years of experience. Becca excels in client education and all facets of animal treatment and care. Becca is a native of Wisconsin and graduated from Madison Technical College. She and her husband live in Owatonna with her two dogs, Gauge & Ruger, and cat, Mr. Stink. In her spare time, she can be found visiting family in Wisconsin, fishing, shooting traps, capturing spectacular photos of wildlife, or doing other outdoor activities.
Kristin Bailey
Kristin Bailey is our main appointment technician. She is the smiling face that greets you and gets things started in the exam room. Kristin graduated from Argosy and has been a great asset to our team for several years. Kristin is well-rounded and helps with patient appointments, nursing care, lab work, pharmacy, and upfront. Kristin's family includes her husband, 3 children, and several pets. Her family is active in 4-H with their dog and rabbits. She likes to fish, ride horses, and camp with her family in her spare time.
Rachel Edgerton
Rachel Edgerton joined us in November 2020. Rachel is one of the friendly voices you hear when you call in to make your appointment. She recently has taken on additional duties to help keep the office running smoothly and is co-manager along with Jodi. Rachel loves to be outdoors. Her favorite pastime is fishing- she can be found on lakes, rivers, or ice trying to catch that next "big one." Rachel currently lives in Faribault and has a teenage daughter.
Jodi Scholer
Jodi Scholer joined our team in April 2022. She has experience with many types of animals and is experienced in breeding/raising French Bulldogs. Jodi helps with many "behind the scenes" tasks and keeps our team running smoothly. She is one of our co-managers along with Rachel.
